Eggs – We sell farms fresh eggs! $4 per dozen, and we’ll mix and match types, colors, and sizes for you. We love to throw in some “extras” so expect a couple of baby hen eggs and quail eggs on top of your regular dozen. All of our hens are kept with roosters, so the eggs are fertilized, and their free-range diet gives the yolks an intense orange color and rich flavor. Hatching Eggs – want to hatch your own chicks? We can collect eggs from the hen / rooster pairings that you choose and package them to be incubator-ready. Hatching eggs should go into an incubator within a week of being laid, so we will work with you to make sure they’re collected and handed off to you or delivered while they’re still viable. $2 per egg, plus shipping as applicable.
Baby chicks – Don’t have an incubator and don’t want to wait? That’s ok! We’ll hatch eggs for you! With day old chicks there’s no guarantee of gender, so if you end up with roosters that you can’t or don’t want to keep, we’ll buy them back from you. We’re happy to work with you to pick the breed or pairing that you want (or mix it up for a colorful and diverse bunch!), and we’ll send you pictures on hatching day and arrange for pick up or delivery of your new babies. $10 per chick, plus delivery fees as applicable.
Chick Roosting Bars – These handmade roosting bars are made from sanded 3/4 inch plywood
and white pine dowels. Give your chicks a combination toy and sleeping perch until they are big enough to go outside and sleep in a coop. $50 each
Chicken Coops – Intrepid carpenter Jon can design and build a coop to your specifications. Just let us know your timeline, budget, and design preferences, and we’ll do the rest! Prices will depend on the scope of the work.
Culinary Herbs – We specialize in Provençal Lavender, Rosemary, Mint, Basil, and Lemongrass, among other herbs. Want a cutting to start your own? Ask about our Mason Jar Rooting kits! Do you just need a bunch of fresh herbs for cooking or for bouquets? We’ve got you covered! Check out our Farm Stand at the farm entrance! Heirloom Tomatoes – Some gardeners do many things well. Not us! At least, not yet. But we have mastered the art of growing tomatoes. We have more than a hundred different heirlooms, in all sizes, varieties, and colors. If you’ve never had a home grown heirloom tomato, we can promise that the taste will ruin you for store bought tomatoes or greenhouse grown fruit forever. Juicy, tart, explosively flavorful, our tomatoes will take your BLT or Pizza Margherita to the next level.
